The world of Sine

Sine is a cinematically inspired roleplaying game. Rather than complex mechanics, we focus on adventures favouring rich lore and player driven storytelling. Players typically adopt the role of a Catalyst: a genetically engineered super soldier designed to fight back against a ruthless alien species known as the Stock. Twenty years after the invasion you and your Squad work to help reestablish humanity as the dominant species on Earth. Your Characters will differ in their equipment, skillset, and personality, but as Players of this TTRPG you all share the same tools at the table: a set of dice and your imagination.

The world of Sine is a vibrant and colourful landscape contrasted by the grey morality of its survivors. Here, you are empowered to make choices that influence the world and story you are creating. But be warned, your choices and actions will have consequences that could not only affect your Squad but the world at large.

Our Mission

Our team has worked hard to build a world that is unique and fun but also wrestles with moral greyness. We hope you dive into this world and create engaging stories that stay with you for years to come. To that end, we want Sine to be a living and breathing universe that has a collective database for everyone's stories. The adventures that you and your friends experience can be added to the lore of the world and shape the future of Sine as a whole.

We want Sine to host a community of storytellers who build from a world affected by each other’s adventures. Creating Catalyst models that can be used by other players, cataloging the rise and fall of Factions throughout the world, creating creatures that roam the lands, or detailing the aftermath of a battle against Stock forces and its affect on the landscape. 

Our aim is to publish a physical copy of the Sine Sourcebook with new art, editing and consultation that has adventures and tools for players to go out and build their adventures within the world. Our hope is that the world can grow beyond TTRPGs so that even more people can experience the world of Sine through movies, shows, video games and more. This is just the beginning.
